16 Days Nepal Everest Base Camp Trekking Tour

Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal! Upon your arrival, your local guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to have a good rest at hotel or prepare for your following trekking tour.

Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, you are going to take a domestic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla for about 40 minutes.

Upon arrival, you will meet your local guide at the airport. Then, you will have an easy trekking tour from Lukla to Phakding through the Dudh Kosi Valley. While hiking along the river side, you will enjoy the fresh air from the pine and rhododendron forest.

In the morning, you will start the trekking journey from Phakding through a busy trail, where you could see the local porters and Sherpas carrying the good and mountain climbing equipment for advanced climbers and hikers to the higher valleys.

We will trek cross the Dudh Kosi again to enter the Sagamartha National Park, where we will get cross a large suspension bridge and finally get to Namche Bazaar.

Today is free for you to relaxing yourself in the small town and acclimatize to the altitude. You can climb up to the famous Everest View Hotel, from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the great peaks of the Himalaya, such as the Everst, Nuptse, Lhotse and Kusum Kangaru.

Today you will trek for about 5 hours from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche, here you will visit the Tengboche Monastery, the spiritual center of the Khumbu.

After breakfast, you will start today’s journey from Tengboche to Dingboche. It takes about 6 hours. En route, you can enjoy a great view of the snow-capped mountains.

Today, you will have a 6-hour trekking from Dingboche to Lobuche. En route, you will see some memorial stones to honor the lost climbers on the peak of Mount Everest.

Today is free for you to have a good rest and prepare for the next journey to the peak of Lobuche.

In the morning, you will start your trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep. After having lunch, you will continue the trekking to the summit of Kala Pattar. You will get a view of the Mount Everest there, and then back to Gorakshep. The total trekking time for today is about 6 hours.

Today you will take a 3.5 hours’ trekking from Gorakshep to the Everest Base Camp. Once reaching the base camp, you can enjoy the marvelous Khumbu Ice Fall. Then, you will trek back to Gorak Shep from the Everest Base Camp by the same route. The return journey also takes about 3.5 hours.

You need to get up early this morning for a trek to Kala Pattar for the amazing sunrise. It is a tough trekking journey from Gorakshep to Kala Patter for it is a rocky hilltop with a higher altitude.

 After enjoy the splendid view of Kala Pattar, you will hike dowm to Lobuche and Thugla for lunch and then trek to Pheriche, the finally destination for today’s journey.

Today, you just need to trek for about 4 hours from Pheriche to Tengboche. On the way, you will cross the Khumbu Khola River and enjoy the landscapes and the life of the local towns and villages before reaching Tengboche.

After breakfast, you will start your trekking journey back to Namchee Bazaar from Tengboche through the forest.

Today you will finish the last section from Namchee back to Lukla. The whole journey takes about 7 hours. After arriving in Lukla, you can have a good rest at the local guesthouse.

In the morning, you are going to take the early flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your local hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city by yourself.
