New Inter-city Train between Xining and Delingha Was Added to Faciliate Tourists in Spring
As weather got warmer in spring, more tourists would be expected to enjoy spring outing in Qinghai Lake, the biggest saline lake in China. To facilitate passengers, an inter-city train (Z9877) was added to serve tourists travelling from Xining to Delingha from Feb,14 to March,31, according to the China Railway Corporation.
The Tibet train is running on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau in spring.
The inter-city train covered a distance of 150km. Due to the short distance, normally the inter-city train was equipped with only hard and soft seat cabins. However, the new train kept the soft sleepers and hard sleepers. Tourists could easily book the train ticket online and finish the day tour and get back to Xining in just one day. As expected, the opening of this inter-city train could largely boost the tourism in Qinghai Lake and ease the traffic to Delingha.
