Itinerary Day by Day
Day1 Arrive in Kathmandu (1300m)
Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal! Upon your arrival, our local guide will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to have a good rest at hotel. Meal plan (B/L/D).
Stay overnight in Kathmandu.
Day2 Kathmandu Sightseeing
Today you will enjoy a full day sightseeing in Katmandu Valley by AC coach. You will visit Pashupatinath, Buddhanath, Swayambhunath, Jal Narayan and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Meal plan (B/L/D).
Stay overnight in Kathmandu.
Day3 Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa (3650m)
It takes a direct flight about 1:15 hours to arrive at Lhasa Gonggar Airport from Kathmandu. Upon your arrival at Lhasa, you will be greeted by our Tibetan guide and be transferred you to hotel. Meal plan (B/L/D).

Day4 Lhasa Sightseeing: Potala Palace, Johkang Temple, and Barkhor Street
Today you will visit the iconic attractions in Lhasa: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street. Meal plan (B/L/D).

Day5 Lhasa to Shigatse (3900m)
In the morning, take the car ride for 360km to Shigatse. There, you will visit Tashilungpo Monastery where the world’s highest gold gilded statue of Future Buddha Maitreya (33m) is worshipped. Meal plan (B/L/D).
Stay overnight in Shigatse.
Day6 Shigatse to Saga (4640m)
Drive about 340km to Saga, the joint of the regular Kailash route. Meal plan (B/L/D).

Day7 Sage to Lake Manasarovar (4558m)
Today, continue your trip to Lake Manasarovar. It is an auspicious day because you will have the first glimpse of the sacred Lake Manasarovar and Mt. Kailash from Horchu Pass. Meal plan (B/L/D).
Stay overnight at Chhu Gompa.
Day8 Lake Manasarovar to Darchen (4560m)
The abode of god will be a lifetime achievement. Puja, Havana worship, meditation, holy bath etc. In the afternoon, take the car ride to Darchen 30km away. Meal plan (B/L/D).

Day9 Trek Day One: Darchen to Diraphuk
Diraphuk is about 18km away from Darchen. You will take the eco-bus from Darchen for 10km and pass by Tarboche, and then trek about 4-5 hours to Diraphuk (4890m).

Day10 Trek Day Two: Drirapuk to Zuthulphuk
It takes 8-10 hours to trek to Zuthulphuk (4790m) about 22km away. This is also the most challenging day of the yatra. You will pass by Parikarma, Dolmala Pass (5600m), and Gaurikunda before arriving at Zuthulphuk.

Day11 Trek Day Three: Dzutripuk - Darchen
Today, you’ll trek 7km to Zongto where you can take eco-bus to Darchen, and see piles of Mani Stones along the kora path. You will end the trek around noon and have a rest in your lodging place.

Day12 Darchen to Shigatse (3900m)
Take the car ride from Darchen to Shigatse. Meal plan (B/L/D).

Day13 Shigatse to Lhasa (3650m)
Take the car ride from Shigatse to Lhasa. Meal plan (B/L/D).
Stay overnight in Lhasa.
Day14 Fly from Lhasa to Kathmandu
Take a flight from Lhasa Gonggar Airport to Katmandu Airport. Our Kathmandu staff with pick you up at airport and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. Meal plan (B/L/D).
Stay overnight in Kathmandu.
Day15 Depart from Kathmandu
We will drop you off at Kathmandu Airport. Meal plan (B). Service ends.
