b. Obtain the Tibet Travel Permit
Before you board the flight to get into Lhasa, you need to get the Tibet Travel Permit, which will use your Chinese Visa and passport for application. Since individual application is not allowed according to the policy, international tourists need to contact a local travel agency which will help to apply for the permit.

The high-speed train departs from Guangzhou West Kowloon Station, and takes about 50 to 75 minutes to reach Guangzhou South Railway Station. A one-way ticket for adult will be HK$210. If you need to transfer from Guangzhou railway station to the airport, you can first take Metro Line 2 to reach Jiahewanggang and then transfer to Metro Line 3 boarding for airport direction, and finally get to T1 or T2.
